August 2026 Treasurer's Report
We will have a presentation from Mason District community members on the proposed Plaza 500 Data Center Campus in the Mason District. The proposed data center would sit as close as 67 feet from residential communities in Fairfax County. The presentation will be an overview of the efforts to stop the Plaza 500 Data Center Campus and also provide details on ways Fairfax County community members can reach out to their Planning Commissioner and County Board member to stop this project.
Over 1300 residents and 29 civic and community organizations have supported a grassroots campaign to stop the Plaza 500 data center project in the Bren Mar area of Fairfax County in the Mason District. To view more information, visit the Save Bren Mar website by clicking here.

MAY MEETING INFORMATION
There was an election of officers for the Federation's next fiscal year (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027). As previously sent out, the Federation Nominating Committee has put forward the following slate of candidates. The Federation Membership elected:
