Officer elections and discussion on the Trash and Recycling District Proposal

Fairfax County has proposed a new waste collection system using the Unified Sanitation Districts. Under the plan, the county would manage waste for all single-family homes. Now, HOAs and private citizens contract directly with haulers. Christopher Herrington, director of the county's Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, and Matt Adams, a director of the Solid Waste Division, will explain the proposal and answer questions from Federation members.
