Legislation Committee
What We Do
The Legislation Committee prepares a "Legislative Recommendations" of issues to be considered by the next General Assembly, monitors relevant legislation introduced in each General Assembly session, and drafts appropriate Issues letters for the Federation President to send to the Governor and to Senators and Assembly Members of the Fairfax County delegation.

Recent Actions
The 2025 Legislative Survey was open for public responses until October 6th, 2025 and the Legislative package was approved by the Federation Membership on October 23rd, 2025. The 2026 Federation annual Legislative Issues package was submitted to the Fairfax County delegation and to the 2026 General Assembly and to the County Board of Supervisors. See it HERE.
